Cepanoa Arts is back with a new 8-week cycle of art and music workshops running from September 29 to November 21! Mondays bring the House Band with Mr. Andrew, Wednesdays we dive into Alebrijes: Tradición en Color with Mr. Ricardo I. Thursdays we explore The Cumbia Blues Guitar Workshop with Mr. Bryan G., and Fridays feature Open Studio with our new coordinator, Ms. Nada.

We will have an Open House on Wednesday, September 24th to give returning and new students plus families a sneak peek into the world of Cepanoa Arts and what will be taking place during this new cycle. 

HOUSE BAND w/ Mentor Andrew P.
Monday from Sept 29-Nov17 / 5pm to 7pm
The House Band is back! Join Artists Ink this fall (Sept 29–Nov 17) for 8 weeks of jamming, creating, and performing with other middle and high school musicians. Tryouts kick off Sept 29 this is your chance to level up and be part of a real band.

Alebrijes: Tradición en Color w/ Artista Ricardo I. 
Wednesday from Oct 1-Nov 19 / 5pm to 7pm
Celebrate the colors, stories, and spirit of Día de los Muertos in this 8-week art class! Young artists will learn illustration, painting, and papier-mâché while exploring the vibrant traditions behind marigolds, calaveras, and ofrendas. From bold sketches to 3D creations, every week brings a new way to express creativity and honor culture. No experience needed—just bring your imagination and love for art

The Cumbia Blues Guitar Workshop w/ Teacher Bryan G.
Thursday from Oct 2-Nov 20 / 5pm to 7pm
Join The Cumbia Blues Guitar Workshop, an 8-week journey where blues meets cumbia with a psychedelic twist. Learn riffs, rhythms, and grooves while jamming with others, no experience required. Bring your guitar and get ready to play something unforgettable.

Open Studio w/ Teacher Nada
Friday from Oct 3-Nov14 / 5pm to 7pm
Open Studio with Ms. Nada is a creative space where young artists can explore new techniques through guided activities or work on their own projects with full access to studio materials. From jewelry and mosaics to zines and digital art, it’s a supportive community where creativity, self-expression, and friendship thrive.
