Artists Ink is proud to announce the four (4) day Dia de los Muertos event “Celebración de las Ánimas” taking place from Monday, October 30, 2023, to Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Midtown Lane in Oldtown Salinas. In an endeavor to combat the commercialization of Dia de los Muertos, Artists Ink is dedicated to preserving the authentic origins and profound essence of this long tradition. Through this four-day Celebration of the souls, we aim to unite the community to pay homage to our ancestors while passing on the sacred practices, symbolism, and rich history that renders this celebration extraordinary. 

Learn about  its pre-Hispanic Nahuatl origins to the assembly and symbolism within the Altar and its diverse elements, “Celebration de las animas ” unites our loved ones in a celebration that goes beyond the confines of the material world, fostering a sense of unity among us as family and community. Throughout this four-day event a variety of ceremonial offerings and activities will be presented.
