Artists Ink in partnership with the Alisal School Union District will provide virtual arts programming that supports the 4th grade standard history curriculum.
Through the use of stop motion animation, students will retell the stories of the lives of people, native and nonnative, who occupied the presidios, missions, ranchos, and pueblos. Students will develop a deeper understanding of the social, political, cultural, and economic life and interactions among people of California from the pre-Columbian societies to the Spanish mission and Mexican rancho periods. Our mission is to expose students to the true stories that are relevant to this time period, our community and cultura.
