ALEBRIJES WITH RICARDO IBARRA

Celebrate art, culture, and creativity in this 8-week class inspired by the mystical world of Alebrijes. Young artists will explore the origins and symbolism of these fantastical creatures while building strong art foundations in illustration, drawing, painting, and papier-mรขchรฉ.

Each week, students will learn new techniques like sketching imaginative characters, painting bold and colorful designs, and bringing 3D creations to life with papier-mรขchรฉ. Along the way, weโ€™ll dive into the history and folklore that gave rise to Alebrijes, discovering how these vibrant figures represent dreams, imagination, and cultural storytelling.

By the end of the session, students will have a collection of unique artworks that showcase their creativity and bring their own mystical Alebrijes to life. No experience needed, just curiosity, imagination, and a love for color!
